Clicks of Joy: a Link List

I spend an unreasonable amount of time online. There’s obviously all the blog stuff, sharing new bookstagram snaps and the like but there’s also endless content to consume. So over the weekend, I decided that I wanted to start sharing my favourite blogs, vlogs and other online content in a weekly link list! And so I give you: clicks of joy!

Blogs & Sites

Book Riot have shared a fantastic list of 12 books that you probably haven’t heard of. It’s super inclusive and covers everything from culture, race, sexuality and gender.

This week’s notable blogger mention goes to Teaspoon of Adventure. I love reading wrap-up posts that cover a diverse range of books on a diverse range of topics and Riana does exactly that.

Love comics? One of the biggest takeaways from Comic-Con at Home for me was that I can read thousands of long-running web comics anywhere, any time using WEBTOON. They even have an app!

If you’re interested in Japanese snacks and kawaii accessories then check out Tofu Cute. They’re based in Portsmouth and sell some amazing bits and bobs including mystery bags. We placed our first order over the weekend and already know it won’t be our last! Here are some snack-ish highlights…

Who else loves a good conspiracy theory? I can’t stop raving about the Comic-Con at Home panel on conspiracy theories in pop culture and IRL. It’s really well presented, thought-provoking and engaging.

For my vlogger highlight, I’ve chosen Books with Leo. If influencers influence purchasing decisions, Leora is an influencer. Numerous books found their way into my wishlist. And I also signed up for Scribd where I discovered that 80% of the books on my TBR are readily available. So… yeah, exciting stuff!

And to wrap it all up, here’s what I’ve been sharing on the web this week:

★ My review of the contemporary romance novel, Beach Read by Emily Henry

★ August’s intense TBR slash possibility pile

If you’ve enjoyed this post, pop back next weekend for even more clicks of joy! In the meantime, I hope have a great weekend.

Love the idea of sharing your favourites of the month. It’s a great way to show of some great talent but also for us to find new blogs to read.

I am definitely spending 15-16 hours a day online. Between full time job and blogging. Perhaps I need to dial that down a little! But I do love reading other people’s blogs and I tend to get distracted from my work reading them 😂

I love Tofu Cute! My Japan obsessed 11 year old was looking for Pocky and we found it here, they do have a fab selection.

They really do! We got a few boxes of Pocky on our order – some were better than others haha.
